General Practitioner (GP)
About the Role
A new partnership with a pharmacy group of 40 practices is creating a steady stream of direct patient referrals, and we're looking for an experienced, English speaking GP to lead the clinical work from Newcastle, Co. Dublin.
This is a full time role of 40 hours a week at a manageable pace of 3 to 4 patients an hour. Supporting doctors and admin staff do the bulk of the preparation and paperwork, so you can focus on seeing patients and making clinical decisions.
It's a ground floor opportunity too. A brand new clinic is planned to open within the next 6 to 12 months, giving the right GP the chance to grow with the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose and treat patients referred directly through the pharmacy network
- See 3 to 4 patients an hour across a 40 hour week
- Work alongside supporting doctors and admin staff who handle preparation and paperwork
- Contribute to the setup of the new clinic planned within 6 to 12 months
Requirements
- Fluent English speaker
- Registered with the Irish Medical Council on the Specialist Division as a General Practitioner
- Solid experience working as a GP
- Professional indemnity cover for practice in Ireland
