Electrical Project Manager
About the Role
A fast-growing specialist electrical contractor, part of a broader electrical group delivering high-quality commercial projects across Ireland and continental Europe. The business is built around professionalism, compliance, strong site standards and long-term client relationships, and is now expanding its Irish operations after a sustained period of growth.
This is a hands-on senior position for an experienced project manager with direct electrical experience, someone who leads by example on site, works confidently both independently and within a team, and takes initiative to solve problems without needing to escalate. The successful candidate will maintain high standards of workmanship, keep clients informed throughout, and assist with coordination and supervision of senior electricians, junior electricians and apprentices.
It suits someone who takes pride in their work, is results-driven, and is excited by the prospect of leading a team and working with independence and autonomy. A company van and fuel card are provided, with a competitive salary of €75,000 to €85,000 plus performance bonus.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of containment, cabling and distribution systems
- Electrical testing and commissioning
- Reading and interpreting drawings
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulation
- Supervising and organising crews where required
- Maintaining strong health and safety standards
- Liaising with site management and other trades
Requirements
- Qualified Electrician
- Minimum 5+ years experience, with a strong commercial project background
- Safe Pass (essential), Manual Handling (essential), Full Clean Driving Licence (essential)
- Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- Strong attention to detail
