Country Manager - Germany
About the Role
Riverbank Recruitment is retained by the German entity of an established Irish specialist electrical contractor. The business is building a permanent German delivery capability from a base in Frankfurt am Main, with an immediate focus on data centre and mission critical work in the Rhine Main region.
This is the senior in country appointment. The Country Manager runs the German business: multi site delivery, commercial performance, client and main contractor relationships, local team and supply chain, and accountability for the German P&L to Group leadership in Ireland. It is the role that takes the German operation from founder led to properly run.
This is not the Handwerkskammer role. The regulated technical remit, acting as the company's verantwortlicher Betriebsleiter for the Handwerksrolle entry in the electrical engineering trade, is being filled separately by a qualified Elektrotechnikermeister. The Country Manager is not required to hold a Meisterbrief and is not being hired as the technical qualifying person.
Reports to the Group CEO and Commercial Director. Progression to Country Director or Managing Director Germany as the German entity grows. Reference RBR CMG FRA.
