We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solar Engineer to join a pioneering clean energy project in the UK. As a Solar Engineer, you will play a vital role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of solar energy systems, contributing significantly to the renewable energy landscape in the country.
Responsibilities:
Design and optimize solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for various applications, ensuring maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct site assessments to evaluate the feasibility of solar installations, considering factors such as sunlight exposure, shading, and structural integrity.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop detailed engineering plans, drawings, and specifications for solar projects.
Oversee the installation process, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project timelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to solar PV systems, conducting regular inspections and maintenance activities.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of solar energy systems.
Provide technical expertise and support to clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
Proven experience in designing, installing, and maintaining solar PV systems, preferably in commercial or utility-scale projects.
Strong knowledge of solar energy technologies, inverters, batteries, and other related components.
Proficiency in relevant software tools for system design and simulation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Knowledge of industry regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards related to solar installations.
Relevant certifications (such as NABCEP) would be a plus..
