As a Renewable Energy Engineer, you will play a key role in developing, designing, and implementing renewable energy projects. Your focus will be on harnessing innovative technologies to enhance energy efficiency, reduce carbon footprint, and promote eco-friendly practices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including researchers, technicians, and project managers, to drive the successful execution of renewable energy initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Project Development: Lead the planning and development of renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and environmental guidelines.
Technical Design: Create detailed technical designs and specifications for renewable energy systems, incorporating the latest technologies and best practices.
Feasibility Studies: Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies to assess the viability of renewable energy projects, considering factors such as resource availability, cost-effectiveness, and environmental impact.
Technology Integration: Research, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies, such as solar photovoltaics, wind turbines, and energy storage solutions, into renewable energy projects.
Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize project performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and enhance overall efficiency.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, standards, and certifications in the renewable energy sector, providing expert guidance on compliance matters.
Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports, project documentation, and progress updates for stakeholders, outlining project milestones, challenges, and solutions.
Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices, actively contributing to the continuous improvement of renewable energy initiatives.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in renewable energy project development, technical design, and implementation.
Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies, including solar, wind, and energy storage systems.
Proficiency in relevant software tools for technical analysis and project modeling.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and industry standards in the UK renewable energy sector.
